Standard Ready-Mix Concrete
Readymix is standard mix concrete made when required and shipped to sites by concrete truck.
Used for most applications such as foundations, flooring and driveways, paths and retaining walls to name just a few.
Readymix is made to specific requirements, often containing additives for colour, waterproofing, hardening or mixes that allow pumping to sites with difficult access. It is the preferred mixing concept as a more consistent and precise product is produced.
Atlas currently produces around 200,000 cubic metres of concrete a year from six locations in the Auckland Region. All the plants produce concrete to meet all the requirements of today’s construction and architectural needs.
Different colours, textures and strengths are produced and delivered to the exacting demands of the industry. Atlas have a fully equipped laboratory on site to ensure that the product meets the engineered specifications.
This volume represents over 25% of the total Auckland requirement for pre-mix concrete. And as that requirement grows so will Atlas’s ability to meet it.

Standard Mix 14mm Chip, available from 17.5 Mpa to 50 Mpa
Standard Mix 10mm Chip, available from 10 Mpa to 50 Mpa
Spray Mix
Available from 25 Mpa to 40 Mpa.
Used for pools and vertical wall cavities.
Specialist mix for shotcrete applications.
Kerb Mix
Available from 17.5 Mpa to 35 Mpa.
Specialist mix for slipform kerbing machines only.
Used mainly for new roading and subdivision projects.
