Why we do it
Concrete recycling reduces the amount of demolished concrete going to landfill, and repurposes crushed concrete into recycled product, reducing new raw material use.
What is concrete recycling?
Concrete recycling is the smart, cost-efficient and environmentally friendly way to reuse aggregate left behind when concrete structures are demolished. Demolished concrete can be delivered to us by the truckload. We then crush it, remove the steel, then run it through our plant to produce a range of recycled concrete products.
Recycled vs Natural
Recycled products perform similar to naturally resourced products.
Crushed recycled concrete graded and screened to a nominal size of 8mm all in with fines, suitable for bedding pipes or under pavers. This recycled product is a Gap8 equivalent.
Crushed recycled concrete graded and screened to a nominal size of 20mm all in with fines, suitable for under footpaths or levelling under concrete drives. This recycled product is a Gap20 equivalent.
Crushed recycled concrete graded and screened to a nominal size of 40mm all in with fines, this is our most popular size and can be used in a variety of jobs from under floor slabs and driveways to car parks and hardstand areas. This recycled product is a Gap40 equivalent.
Crushed recycled concrete graded and screened to a nominal size of 65mm all in with fines, a heavy grade material for subdivisions and commercial applications. This recycled product is a Gap65 equivalent.
